A Clinical Observation of Patients with Atopic Dermatitis in Childhood

Abstract
|
|
|
This study was undertaken to evaluate the clinical status of the patients with a topic dermatitis in childhood who visited to Chungnam National University Hospital. Bring January-October 1983. The results were summarized as follows. .
1. In this group of 56 patients 26(46.4%) were male and 30(53.6%) were female. The peak
age of incidence was between 2-4 years and 75% of patients were under 5 years of age.
2. The most prevalent age of onset was 0-3 months of age, 75% of patients had their skin lesions by the age of 3 years.
3. The most common involved sites were trunk, face and scalp, upper and lower extremities.
